This policy explains how Darlish collects and uses your personal information when you visit our website, sign up to hear from us, or visit our parlours. We keep things simple: we only collect what we need, we look after it carefully, and we never sell it.

Darlish is operated by Darlish Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09859169), with its registered office at Home Farm, Hatfield Park, Hatfield, England, AL9 5NH. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
What we collect and why
We collect information you give us directly, such as when you sign up to our emails or take out a subscription or get in touch. We also collect limited information automatically when you use our website, as explained in our Cookie Policy.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our accountants. We never sell your personal information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers, such as Klaviyo, Google and Stripe, may store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it:
- Email marketing: until you unsubscribe
- Subscription records: while your subscription is active, then [12 months] afterwards.
- Enquiries: [12 months] after we last hear from you.
- Financial records: six years, as required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
- withdraw your consent at any time
- ask us to transfer your information to another organisation

Children
Our website and emails are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Keeping your information safe
We take sensible steps to protect your information, including secure systems, restricted access and working only with reputable providers. Payment card details are handled securely by our payment providers (Stripe for subscriptions and Zettle in our parlours) and are never stored by us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and we’ll let you know by email about any significant changes.
