Our ice cream is made in the Philadelphia style – no egg, dense and creamy – using natural ingredients and flavours inspired by Persian and Middle Eastern heritage, from saffron and rose to pistachio and cardamom. We use fresh, high-quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever we can. The only flavour containg egg is our Rum and Raisin.
The majority of our ice cream is Halal and egg-free across the range, so it’s suitable for a wide range of dietary needs and preferences. The only flavour that contains egg is our Rum and Raisin.
Yes, we have a range of vegan ice creams and sorbets alongside our dairy range- just ask in parlour or check individual flavour pages for details.
We take allergens seriously and label our products accordingly. Darlish produces artisan dairy and non-dairy ice creams. Whilst measures are in place to reduce the risk of cross contamination, we still handle dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, soya and sesame. We follow all manufacturing best practices for dealing with allergens, but we cannot guarantee that our products will be 100% allergen free as we use the same machinery to produce all ice creams. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any food allergies prior to plac-ing your order so that we can take extra care. We are happy to wash a scoop and take ice cream from a fresh container from the storage freezer, providing that flavour is in stock. Many of our customers with allergies are able to enjoy our ice cream, but it is up to you to decide whether you are happy with the measures we have taken to try and minimise risk. We’re committed to fresh, ethically sourced ingredients, using British and locally grown produce where possible alongside authentic Persian ingredients such as saffron and rosewater.
You’ll notice our ice cream isn’t piled high in swirls behind the glass the way you might see elsewhere. That’s a deliberate choice. We keep our ice cream in deep, covered tubs – known as pozzetti – rather than in open display trays known as Napoli. It’s a more traditional way of storing ice cream and it’s about protecting quality rather than making a show of it. Keeping the ice cream covered and out of the light and warm air helps it stay at the right temperature and texture, batch after batch, scoop after scoop – no melting and refreezing at the surface, no losing that just-made texture Laura works so hard to get right.

Yes – our ice cream cart is available to hire for weddings, parties, corporate events and other celebrations across London and Hertfordshire, bringing our signature Persian-inspired flavours to your guests. To enquire please fill out our event form at the bottom of the events page
Our all inclusive service includes everything you’ll need: delivery, setup, uniformed service staff, all sundries (cups, cones, napkins, spoons), our delicious ice cream, as well as cleanup and waste disposal.
Yes, we can tailor the cart and service for corporate branding – get in touch to discuss your event. We would need confirmation of branding 1 month before your event so we can get everything printed.
The sooner the better! Ideally a minimum of 4 weeks. And flavours would need to be confirmed 1 week before the event.

Unfortunately we don’t currently deliver nationwide.

Yes you can buy our take home tubs 500ml in-store from all our stores in any flavour available at the parlour.
We do certainly sell gift cards! These are available to purchase at all our stores at the till.
